2800 28th Street, Santa Monica
Project Description: The 2800 Project is a proposed mixed-use housing development. The project will replace a 115,000 square foot office building with approximately 385 residences/apartments (410,000 SF of residential area), 54,000 SF of community-serving retail, and 667 parking stalls. The residential plan includes 46 income-restricted residences and 339 market-rate residences with a range of unit types from studios to three-bedrooms. The project’s height varies from two to eight stories (max. 85’). The project site is approximately 4.5 acres, bordered by a neighboring office building and surface parking (SR Watt owned) to the north, 28th Street to the east, 28th Street / Donald Douglas Loop to the south, and Clover Park to the west. The site also sits just north of Santa Monica Airport.
